Social Theorist - Social Philosopher - Qualitative Researcher

Alexis Gros (PhD in Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires, 2016) is a sociologist specializing in social theory and social philosophy, with a particular focus on the paradigms of Critical Theory and phenomenology.​ He also has substantial experience in qualitative social research.

Currently, he is Senior Lecturer in Sociological Theory at the Institute of Sociology, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany. 

He serves as Co-Chair of the Contemporary Critical Theory Studies Group (GETeCC) at the Gino Germani Institute (IIGG), University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He is also a translator of sociological and philosophical books from German into Spanish.
